- Students participating in dual-enrollment must be 10th, 11th, or 12th grade

- Documents required: Unofficial transcripts with current grade-point average, teacher letter of recommendation, parent/guardian form
- All credit courses are offered at a flat rate of $300
- Some courses require students to purchase textbooks, book fees can range from $50–$100 per course

We are offering Chicago Public School students a voucher for a 100 percent discount to take part in dual-enrollment courses at Illinois Tech!

- All courses are transferable to Illinois Tech and may be transferable to other post-secondary institutions
- Dual-enrollment programs are unavailable during summer sessions
- Specific details for each courses are in each course description
- Scholarships are available; scholarships cover 100 percent of tuition costs for all Chicago Public School students
- For non-CPS students, a portion of the costs can be covered once we receive the appropriate documentation, such as proof of eligibility for free or reduced lunch

Students are expected to participate in courses according to the Illinois Tech Academic Calendar. Please be aware that Illinois Tech’s schedule may not align with your high school academic break(s). Accommodations for breaks are at the discretion of individual faculty and may be denied. Additionally, students are expected to handle the high rigor of these courses and be comfortable individually advocating for their academic needs throughout the course. Students can expect to be held to the same standards as college-aged students.
Technology Requirements
Course participation will require a laptop or desktop computer, a strong internet connection, the ability to download and install software. Chromebooks are not suitable for our courses.
Application
In order to enroll in a dual-enrollment course, students must first submit an application to ensure that they are eligible to register for the course. Admission to these courses requires students to demonstrate high academic performance in rigorous high school classwork AND/OR meet any stated prerequisites.
